Phapros Targets Sales Up 14% on 2016

PT Phapros Tbk, as one of the leading pharmaceutical company located in Semarang, Central Java. Phapros be one of the suppliers of drugs take an important role in the health industry. Phapros had experienced a decline in sales in 2014, then, in 2015 Phapros has succed to increasing the production target. Phapros able to achieve the sales target was higher than in 2014.

By 2015, Phapros achieved a sales increase from the Rp 578 billion to Rp 691 billion.  Then, the net profit increased significantly, by 40% from Rp 45 billion to Rp 63 billion by the end of 2015.

"The year 2015 is an excellent achievement for Phapros amid fluctuation of the rupiah against the US dollar and the unstable economic conditions in Indonesia" Said Iswanto, as President Director of PT Phapros Tbk.

Phapros believe that the imposition of membership BPJS can increase sales in the generic drug sector in 2016. Therefore, Phapros targeting sales in 2016 increased by 14% compared to 2015.

Several methods are used in order to increase sales this year, by building a new plant in the area of Ungaran, Semarang regency, Central Java. Then, strengthen sales of generic drugs bearing (OGB) and ethical (prescription drugs). Additionally, Phapros will add products, such as medical devices such as implant arthroplasty and VP shunt.
